At this luxurious and comfortable hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful and well-maintained gardens, filled with lush vegetation and scented flowers. The rooms provided a sense of privacy and tranquility, with a lovely green corner to relax in. The spacious bathrooms, including an open-air shower, added a touch of luxury to our stay. The reception staff and pool man were exceptionally kind and helpful, ensuring that we felt well taken care of throughout our time here. We also discovered some fantastic local restaurants nearby, serving surprisingly delicious food, including an amazing hibiscus iced tea.

Booked Wheelchair Accessible room with books, the children to use free of charge, jacuzzi and got it upon arrival. Having a roll in shower, a hairdryer, and robes was a bonus. The location was beautiful and magnificent, next to the sea as well as Jozani, Nungwi or Stone Town, in a beautiful area...

It's a jaw-dropping small paradise, with lush greenery, fragrant flowers, and ample space to relax. The sunbeds are super comfy, and there's abundant shade everywhere. Our spacious room had a lovely deck and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The roofed pool was sparkling clean, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The highlight was the reef walk and the laid-back, tranquil atmosphere of the resort. The lunch and dinner options were mind-blowingly amazing, with a surprise menu every day. One of the best highlights was the unforgettable private anniversary dinner, complete with delicious food, champagne, and a surprise cake. The staff was so friendly and even brought us cocktails from the all-inclusive menu. It felt like being at home, with the highest quality breakfast and restaurant food. The facilities, including the relaxing areas, sunbeds, and kids' room with snooker and darts, were top-notch and very clean. The outdoor shower under the palm trees was an absolute treat. The pool was crystal clear with a fantastic temperature, and even had a shaded area for swimming during strong sun or low tide. The staff was unbelievably kind and professional. What's more, it's an eco-hotel with its own water purifying and sewage handling systems, which was a great bonus. The safe and clean beach was supervised all day long, and the complementary reef tour was a fascinating experience with sea animals. The hotel's jungle-like location added to its charm, and the beach in front of the hotel was one of the nicest on the east coast. The nearby restaurant options were another plus. The New Year's Eve celebration was amazing and full of fun. The dive center staff were incredibly nice, and our organized dive was thoroughly enjoyed. the staff in the hotel were mostly very nice and eager to help.

Booked the hotel for its stunning and perfect location close to an amazing beach, a scenic and interesting coast and Nungwi. Units for the children to use free of charge.
They served very limited breakfast, it can be much better.

I chose this hotel for attending a colloquium and was pleased with the Pool Attendants office where beach towels could be signed out. The facilities were convenient and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for my work.
The one service that I missed for my work was a dedicated business center with printing and copying facilities. This would have been helpful for my presentation preparations.

The Bridge Restaurant offers an African a la carte menu with theme nights that will give you a taste of the continent's cuisines. The dishes were so flavorful and delicious that they transported me to the bustling markets of Zanzibar.
Wi-Fi connectivity issues.

I had a wonderful stay at Kena Beach in Matemwe. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The highlight of my trip was the amazing reefwalk, where I got to explore the beautiful underwater world. The location was perfect, offering a quiet and secluded atmosphere. The large family suite provided ample space for my family, and the restful garden and huge white beach were truly picturesque. I had a great experience at Kena Beach.
Although the hotel had many positives, there were a few drawbacks. The beach was not suitable for swimming due to sea urchins, which limited water sports activities.

Nothing to fault.

During my Thanksgiving vacation, I had a great time at a hotel that felt like a home away from home. The staff was very friendly, and the food quality was of a high level. I especially enjoyed the outdoor shower under the palm trees as it gave a real wellness feeling experience. the beach was safe, clean, and supervised by staff all day long. Lastly, the hotel had its own water purifying and sewage handling systems, making it an eco-friendly hotel.
The room had some small problems, but it's important to remember that it's located in Africa. the all-inclusive package could improve as there was a limited variety of cocktails.

Our stay at Kena Beach was worth every penny. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a clean bathroom and good Wi-Fi. The location right by the beach was stunning, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.
The only thing that could have made breakfast better was a wider menu selection.

The private beach was absolutely stunning and very serene. the location of the hotel was perfect, as it was close to a bustling fishing village which provided a fascinating insight into local culture and traditions.
The restaurant service was a bit slow which gave us more time to enjoy the beautiful views. However, the quality of the food more than made up for it.
